Tiny Food Foundry started in 2010, the day I found beauty in the bean. I was working at a coffee shop in Seattle watching beans tumble in a drum roaster, mesmerized by the rhythmic motion and beautiful smell of the roasting process.

While watching waves of caramel brown beans turn in the machine I thought: every bean is so different, perfect and overlooked right under my fingers. Deeply inspired, I made my first design that week.

For years after I made coffee bean earrings as gifts for friends, with each iteration changing and growing to eventually become Tiny Food Foundry. Today the Single Origin collection is cast in bronze, sterling silver, gold, palladium, and platinum.
